1. The activities and courses offered on this website will be taught by certified sports technicians (Tecnico deportivo de escalada) accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science, with expertise in training and leading climbing activities.
2. The booked activity may be suspended due to weather or technical reasons, whether prior to or occurring during the activity. No refund will be issued to the client if the activity has already begun.
3. If a client or student does not meet the required or agreed-upon technical or physical level, Climbing Siurana may, if possible, modify the itinerary or program to suit the participant's level. Likewise, Climbing Siurana may modify the program based on weather or mountain conditions to ensure safety. Guide-to-client ratios will be maintained, prioritizing safety criteria and respecting the minimum number agreed upon for each course or activity.
4. The client declares, under their own responsibility, and after reading the contract, the following:
a) That the activity and its associated risks have been explained to them, as well as the required behavior.
b) That they understand they will be accompanied at all times by a Guide, whose instructions they agree to follow, assuming responsibility for any actions they take that are not in accordance with the Guide's orders or explanations.
c) That they have been informed of the prohibition against leaving any organic or inorganic waste or material during the activity, and that they must accept any administrative or criminal penalties that may arise from non-compliance.
d) That they do not suffer from cardiovascular disease, are not pregnant, and do not have any injury that would prevent them from participating in the activity without risk to their health.
e) That they are of legal age (or have the legal permission of their guardian) to participate in this activity. f) That during the activity, the participant will be in full physical and mental capacity, and the consumption of alcohol, drugs, or narcotics is expressly prohibited, both before and during the activity, as is the use of any medication that may impair said capacity.
g) That a copy of this contract is provided, and that the participant agrees to its terms.
5. In accordance with Decree 56/2003, which regulates physical and sporting activities in the natural environment, anyone practicing hiking or climbing should be covered by accident insurance.
a) For activities in Spain, we will provide daily accident insurance.
6. The client is responsible for their own transportation to the starting point of the activity agreed upon with Climbing Siurana, unless otherwise agreed for a specific activity. The contract and liability apply exclusively to the direct work of the guides and the organization of the activity.
7. The loss, negligence, or misuse of equipment provided by Climbing Siurana by the client (beyond normal wear and tear or due to force majeure) will be the client's responsibility and must be reimbursed to the guide leading the activity.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1. The client may cancel the requested or contracted services and is entitled to a refund of the amounts paid, but must compensate Climbing Siurana with the amounts indicated below:
a. A penalty of 25% of the total cost of the activity will be applied if the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the start date of the activity;
b. A penalty of 50% of the total cost of the activity will be applied if the cancellation occurs more than 15 days before the start date of the activity;
c. A penalty of 75% of the total cost of the activity will be charged if the cancellation occurs more than 5 days before the activity start date.
d. Failure to appear by the client on the date and time indicated by the guide, or cancellation of the activity within 5 days of its start, will result in the total loss of any advance payments.
2. When is the activity considered to have started? When the guide arrives at the agreed meeting point.
3. If Climbing Siurana decides to cancel the activity due to weather or safety reasons, or because the minimum number of participants is not reached, the full amount paid will be refunded, or the activity will be postponed by agreement with the client.
4. Upon confirmation of the booking, the client expressly accepts all of these General Terms and Conditions. In the event that a person registers another/others, they assume/on their behalf/their names and each and every one of these General Conditions
