Content of this Climbingcourse
During our multipitch climbing course we will show you how to climb safely and efficient through a longer route. Together we will learn the necessary techniques and strategies and put them to test during the 5 days in different multipitch climbs up to 250m length. We will visit different climbing areas around Siurana to experience the different rock types that Catalonia has to offer.

- Building anchors
- Belay stance organization
- belaying from a stance
- Double-rope technique
- planing of multipitch routes
- Rappeling (abseiling) from longer routes
- Problem-solving (what to do if something happens)

Leadclimb 5b (french) on rock
required material for the course
Backpack (20 - 30 l), climbing shoes, suitable approach shoes (click here for some examples), rain jacket, warm and suitable outdoor clothes, sun cream, water bottle, head torch
Details of the week
Arrival and departure take place over the weekend. The climbing course runs from Monday to Friday. Of course, we are happy to help you with organizing your arrival and departure. Accommodation is in our holiday house in Ulldemolins.
The multi-pitch climbing course generally takes place in the vicinity of Siurana. We will be in and around Siurana on days 1, 2, and 4. On Wednesday and Friday, we will travel a bit farther and visit climbing areas around Barcelona (Montserrat), Lleida, and Els Ports. Depending on the weather and the group, we will decide which area is best suited.

What is included in the price?
- You get as much coaching as you want. By the end of the course there should be no questions left unanswered. We want you to be confident in what you have learned here with us.
- Climbing Siurana provides you with all the climbing equipment you need for the course(harness, helmets, ropes etc.), except for climbing shoes. Shoes can be rented in the local climbing shop for 4 € a day.
- All the transportation cost from the accommodation to the rock and back is included.
- We will take nice climbing pictures of you and the group. By the end of the course, you can take these with you as a souvenir.
What is not included in the price
- Travel to Spain: Flights or fuel costs to Siurana are not included. If you want tips on the best ways to get to Siurana and how we can support you, check out our Getting There page.
- Accommodation: Not included in the camp price and paid directly at the accommodation (€25 per night). If preferred, you can stay in your own tent or camper van.
- Climbing shoes & chalk bag: You need to bring these yourself.
- Food & drinks: Each participant is responsible for their own meals. You can cook at the accommodation or eat at local restaurants in the village.
