Do you want to do a Multipitch Climb close to Barcelona?

In the "magic mountain" called Montserrat there is a huge amount of rock, spectacular views and breathtaking landscapes for more than a lifetime. With us you can enjoy a full climbing day up on the mountain and climb on top of one of its most icons rock spires like the Cavall Bernat or the Gorro Frigi. This activity is for beginner climbers equally fitted than for advanced climbers and the maximum amount of participants is 2 climbers.

 

¿Which routes can we do in Montserrat?

The most recommendable areas and routes in Montserrat are:

  • Gorros - Vía Carles 5c (Gorro Frigi), Rantanplan 5a (Magdalena Inf.), 98 Octans 6a (Magdalena Sup)
  • Northface - Punsola Reniu 5b/A0 (Cavall Bernat)
  • Southface - Sol Solet 4c/Escabroni Escapullini 5b (Miranda de Can Jorba)

Depending on your experience, climbing level and ambition, we will choose a route that fits you perfectly so that you can enjoy your day with us as much as possible.

Vía ferrata dels Patacons- La Mussara

The vía ferrata dels Patacons in "la Mussara"

This Via Ferrata became over the last couple of year one of the most famous ones in the province of Tarragona. This parcour offers an equipped length of 500 meters, 4 Nepalese bridges (cable bridges), spectacular rock spires, an exposed 20 m rappel and amazing views of Tarragona and the ocean. Don't miss this Via ferrata when you visit the area, and you like this kind of adventure activities!

Duration: 3-4 hours

Difficulty: Medium/advanced - K4

Elevation gain: 200m/480m equipped length

Age: Recommended body height: 1.50 m

Physical requirements: Previous experience in climbing/via ferrata. This one shouldn't be the one you start with unless you are very fit and have very little fear of heights. It is quite exposed, long and there are some overhanging parts in it. You have to be able to hike for 3-4 hours in rocky terrain.

    Vía ferrata in Morera de Montsant

    A Vía ferrata is a mountain activity that combines scrambling and rock climbing. We use metal rails to climb up the vertical rock faces and are secured with a steel cable where we clip in.  Even if you don't have any experience in rock climbing but are fit enough to hike for 3-4 hours in the mountains, than this activity is a great choice for you. We can do the Vía ferrata of Montsant with a maximum of 6 people, so you can bring your friends and family to enjoy and share this adventure. During the activity we have great views of the "Parc Natural de la Serra del Montsant", of Siurana and the lake, of the"Muntanyes de Prades" and of the Priorat region.
