Climbingcamp - Rockclimbing for advanced
Details of the camp
The duration of this climbing course is 5 days.
Arrival day is Sunday, and we are happy to pick you up in Tarragona in the evening.
On Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday we go climbing intensively and cover various topics.
Monday is more of a getting-to-know-each-other day, where you can familiarize yourself with the other participants, the rock, and the coaches. The main focus is on safety, making sure everything is correct, and, if necessary, practicing skills such as cleaning anchors. The coaches will also get an idea of which routes you feel comfortable on and which ones might be more challenging for you.
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are theme days, focusing on projecting routes, onsight climbing, and mental training. Our goal is to give you practical tips that you can immediately try out and apply on the rock.
We always plan an active rest day on Wednesday. On this day, we focus more on recovery strategies and injury prevention, but we also climb some easier routes with an emphasis on technique training. In addition, we have in-depth discussions about your strengths and weaknesses and create a plan for how you can improve. There is also plenty of time to talk about training planning and exercises.
Departure day is Saturday, and we will take you back to Tarragona in the morning (from 9 a.m. onwards).
Depending on the group’s needs, we climb in the areas of Siurana, Montsant, and Margalef. All three areas offer different types of rock and styles of climbing, making them perfect to combine.
The amount of time we spend climbing each day varies from group to group, but on average it is between 6 and 7 hours.
Goals of the climbing camp
Requirements
For the climbing camp in Siurana, you should already be able to lead climb and belay independently. If you still feel a bit unsure about building anchors, we are happy to help you at the beginning of the week and practice this together.
Your climbing level is not the main factor, but to fully enjoy the camp you should ideally be able to climb at least 5a (6–) outdoors and 6a (6+) indoors.
Our coaching methods
Our climbing coaching stands for individualized, patient, and technically well-founded guidance. At its core is a precise analysis of your personal strengths and weaknesses—technical, tactical, and mental. Through attentive observation, targeted questions, and the use of video analysis, we make movement patterns, body positioning, and decision-making processes visible and easy to understand.
Based on this, we develop tailored coaching and training approaches that focus exactly where the greatest potential for improvement lies. We take the time to communicate concepts clearly, work together to develop new movement strategies, and integrate them sustainably into your everyday climbing. Our aim is not only to achieve short-term results, but to enable long-term development—efficient, reflective, and always on equal footing.

Die Aussichten in Siurana sind wunderschön und wir waren jeden Tag an einem neuen coolen Spot, wo für jeden Schwierigkeitsgrad immer etwas dabei warPosted on Oliver SchärichTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Francis GuayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. More than excellent experience. We asked for a guided multipitch. They proposed us a few climb option depending on our experience. The one selected was absolutely awesome. Marteen was very safe with us and explained what we had to know. He made sure to use enough chalk to show us some great holds. Marteen was really a nice person to meet and helped us to find great crag for the following days. I strongly recommend, if its for guided climb or different courses outside, Climbing Siurana is an absolute must.Posted on Muriel ScheideggerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had such an incredible experience on my trip with Climbing Siurana. Dicha is by far one of the greatest coaches I could have ever wished for. I felt like I could learn quickly but calmly with her tutoring. I’ve walked away feeling confident and accomplished. I’m so grateful for the 5 days I’ve just spent climbing with Dicha and the group. Thank you so much 🙏🏻Posted on Justin RuckerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What an amazing climbing trip! I was in Priorat for wine touring and really wanted to get a climb in while I was in the area. I did a one day climb with Climbing Siurana and it was so good! Dicha was an excellent guide and knew the area very well. I highly recommend for anyone considering climbing in Siurana!Posted on Frank WeisnerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Damiano DreucciTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience shared with great people!
