Details of the camp

The duration of this climbing course is 5 days.

Arrival day is Sunday, and we are happy to pick you up in Tarragona in the evening.

On Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday we go climbing intensively and cover various topics.

Monday is more of a getting-to-know-each-other day, where you can familiarize yourself with the other participants, the rock, and the coaches. The main focus is on safety, making sure everything is correct, and, if necessary, practicing skills such as cleaning anchors. The coaches will also get an idea of which routes you feel comfortable on and which ones might be more challenging for you.

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are theme days, focusing on projecting routes, onsight climbing, and mental training. Our goal is to give you practical tips that you can immediately try out and apply on the rock.

We always plan an active rest day on Wednesday. On this day, we focus more on recovery strategies and injury prevention, but we also climb some easier routes with an emphasis on technique training. In addition, we have in-depth discussions about your strengths and weaknesses and create a plan for how you can improve. There is also plenty of time to talk about training planning and exercises.

Departure day is Saturday, and we will take you back to Tarragona in the morning (from 9 a.m. onwards).

Depending on the group’s needs, we climb in the areas of Siurana, Montsant, and Margalef. All three areas offer different types of rock and styles of climbing, making them perfect to combine.

The amount of time we spend climbing each day varies from group to group, but on average it is between 6 and 7 hours.
